REJOICE WITH US!  The best news was left out of this brief update.  Jerry finished the second draft of his thesis and is awaiting word from his prof.  What a relief to have the major rewrite done!  It now must be read by two profs, their suggested revisions made, and then receive final approval.  Pray that this process can be completed in short order.

Also note that we made some corrections to the Sunday schedule below.

Dear Prayer Team,

Greetings from Enumclaw, WA at the foot of beautiful Mt. Rainier!

The handiwork of God's creation is so evident in this place.  We are reminded how we so enjoyed living here during seminary and deputation days from 1977 until we went to the field in 1984.  Our thanks to the Father and dear friend Eileen Oldright for making this place available to us until mid-June.

We'd like to update your prayers with our speaking schedule for this mini-furlough.  If you have opportunity when your church is not meeting, we'd love to have you come to one of these presentations where we'll be sharing the great partnerships that God has raised up for accomplishing His work in Northeast Brazil and beyond.

Please be in prayer for Lynda's parents in these weeks that we are away.  Her father is temporarily in a rest home due to her mother being  emotionally and physically exhausted and now sick on top of that.

Praise God with us that Betania has passed her second test on the road to doing her medical residency here in the US.  She is also experiencing severe pain from an old back injury and needs to be ready to travel with Natanzinho and Nathalie to Brazil on June 9 for two months.

Thank God with us that Lydia seems to be handling the financial responsibilities well there in Fortaleza.  She has some health issues however, so please pray for their resolution.

Counting it a privilege to be remembered in your prayers,

Jerry and Lynda Neuman
